Mary Kay: Welcome to the next edition of the SyberWorks LMS e-learning implementation podcast series. My name is Mary Kay Lofurno and I'm the Marketing Director here at SyberWorks and your host today.

In this edition we're going to be taking a break from our normal format of talking with SyberWorks customers about their LMS implementations and talk with Steve Pena, Senior Implementation Consultant here at SyberWorks about his recent article, “Ten Learning Management System Implementation Learning Tips”.

Mary Kay: Hi Steve, it’s great to have you here on the SyberWorks LMS e-learning implementation series.
Steve Pena: Hi Mary Kay, great to be here. How are you?
Mary Kay: I’m terrific thanks. Alright, let’s get to it. I know you recently wrote an article, “Ten Learning Management System Implementation Learning Tips” so without getting too much into your piece can you talk about a few LMS implementation tips you mention in your article?
Steve: Sure. Well the article mostly deals with all the steps you and your organization can take before the actual implementation project begins to make it go much smoother and faster.
For example, subjects such as catalogs, naming convention, reporting needs, curricula and e-commerce can either be new to your organization loosely defined or implemented in a very disperse and varied forms throughout the organization.
Bringing the right people together and deciding your needs in these areas is most of the work. Putting clean data into an LMS is usually fast and simple enough.
