Mary Kay: Hi, Dave. All right, what’s collaborative filtering?
David Powell: Collaborative filtering is the process of looking for information or patterns using collaboration among multiple agents, view points, data sources, and so on. It is frequently used to predict individual’s interests and tastes from a large amount of data residing in multiple locations and databases.
