This week, Dave will talk about a term used in e-Learning Development, “Localization.” So I ask you, do you know your e-Learning Lingo?

Mary Kay: Hi Dave! Please explain Localization.

David Powell: In marketing technical communications and hardware/software development, localization is the process of adapting content for non-native environments, other nations and cultures. It involves adding location or language-specific components, writing materials and user interfaces so that they will not confuse translators and editing materials to minimize translation costs.

Mary Kay Lofurno: Thanks Dave! Have a great afternoon!

David Powell: You too, talk with you soon!
