Mary Kay: Hi, Dave. So, what is a bulletin board system?
David Powell: A bulletin board system, or BBS, is an online community maintained by a host computer for posting information, carrying on discussions, uploading and downloading files, chatting, and other online services. BBSes are text-based and often relate to the specific hobbies or interests of their creators and users.
