Announcer: The e-Learning Lingo Podcast.

Mary Kay Lofurno: Hello, this is Mary Kay Lofurno, Marketing Director here at SyberWorks. Welcome to the 15th episode of the e-Learning Lingo Podcast series. Last week Dave Powell defined the concepts of chunk and chunking. This week we'll be talking about a popular e-Learning development tool “Flash.” So, I ask you, do you know your e-Learning Lingo?

Mary Kay: Hi, Dave. So, tell our audience what is “Flash?”

Dave Powell: “Flash” is multimedia authoring software created by Macromedia, which is now part of Adobe. It allows designers to use simple vector graphics to create computer animations that can be viewed by any browser with a Flash player plug-in. Flash is also used to develop fully interactive websites, presentations, video interfaces, audio and e-Learning courses. It is quite versatile and can produce videos for web distribution that can be viewed without needing any additional player.

Mary Kay: Thanks, Dave. Have a great afternoon.

Dave: You too. Talk with you soon.
