Mary Kay: All right Dave, tell us about Chief Learning Officers or CLOs.
Dave Powell: The Chief Learning Officer or CLO of an organization is the person responsible for strategic human capital development. The CLO insures that the companys learning investments are aligned with the organization's mission, vision, policies, and objectives.
Mary Kay: Thats interesting, Dave. What other types of responsibility might a Chief Learning Officer have?
Dave: The CLO is often responsible for creating, developing, and maintaining a culture of continuing learning in the organization. He or she also promotes a community of consistently improving performance with training roles being used to foster cultural transformation.
