Announcer: The e-Learning Lingo Podcast.

Mary Kay Lofurno: Hello its Mary Kay Lofurno, Marketing Director here at SyberWorks. Welcome to the 129th episode of the e-Learning Lingo Podcast series. Last week Dave Powell talked about ABC Summarizing. This week Dave defines the Organic Model. So I ask you, do you know your e-Learning Lingo?

Mary Kay: All right Dave. So tell us about the organic model.

Dave Powell: The organic model is an educational reform movement in which teachers collaborate to govern internal school policies. It is championed by those who feel that teachers are more adept at creating and implementing these policies as opposed to simply following the guidelines that are created externally by policy makers who are not typically involved in the day to day activities of the classroom.

Mary Kay: OK Dave, well that sounds good. It's been nice talking to you, have a nice afternoon.

Dave: You, too. Talk to you soon.

Mary Kay: This is Mary Kay Lofurno, Marketing Director at SyberWorks. Thanks for listening to episode 129 of the e-Learning Lingo Podcast. This week Dave Powell talked about the organic model.
