Waltham, Massachusetts – April 25, 2005

SyberWorks, a leader in custom e-Learning Solutions and the Learning Management System industry, announced today they have been selected by the Children’s Grief Education Association, a leading provider of bereavement counseling and support for professionals working with grieving children to provide grief support training using the SyberWorks Training Center Hosted e-Learning Solution.

Mary Lyles, Executive Director of the Children’s Grief Education Association states, “Our mission is to provide grief education and support to bereaved children, their families and professionals in schools and community organizations through local, national, and international outreach and training. Over 3.5 to 4 million children under the age of 18 are grieving the loss of a parent; 2 million children are grieving the loss of a parent due to incarceration. These statistics do not count children who are grieving the loss of a sibling, grandparent, friend or other significant person. Bereavement counseling and support are not required areas of study for most school professionals, yet they are faced with grieving children every day.”

Lyles continues, “The Children's Grief Education Association offers school, church, and community based programs, crisis intervention, and referral resources to school staff as help and support for grieving children. Using the SyberWorks Hosted e-Learning solution, we will now offer affordable online learning, CEU's (continuing education units) in grief support training for teachers, counselors, nurses, social workers and psychologists.”

Lyles further states, “We reviewed several Learning Management Systems and found the SyberWorks Hosted e-Learning Solution to be the right mix of features and functionality at a reasonable price point. Counseling professionals can be all over the map when it comes to being able to use computers and technology effectively. We really liked the SyberWorks Training Center's user interface because it was easy for online learners to use and understand. We were also impressed with the service we received from our first interaction with SyberWorks including and up to today. They return our phone calls and respond to requests quickly and efficiently.”

Dave Boggs, CEO of SyberWorks states, “We are excited to see leading non-profit groups using Learning Management Systems technology to further the greater good. The Children's Grief Education Association has an important mission and plays a pivotal role in meeting the needs of grieving children, and we are encouraged that our technology can play a part in performing this vital service.”
